What is everybody's favorite way to hunt? Layout boats? Boat blinds? Fixed blinds?

I love laying in my layout blind in the middle of a fresh cut corn field, watching flock after flock of mallards landing in my spread!!

I like a pit blind in the middle of a corn stubble field. This is a way to introduce new people to the sport because of the comfort and being able to get away with some movement and looking for the birds through the doors. Most people starting out don't have the luxury of layout blinds and layout boats. Plus any day duck hunting in any capacity is a great day....

My uncle just built a custom wood/fiberglass layout boat that we are thinking about getting into building to sell. It is 12ft long and can hunt 3 guys no dog, or 2 and a dog. I put a 25 hp long shaft 4 stroke honda on it and it does about 25 full of gear and guys. If anyone is intersted in pictures pm me. They are also on my facebook page.
My other uncle built one 10 years ago and we still run the river in it. Had some amazing hunts in that thing. We can get back into any slough we want with 3 inches of water and a mud bottom. The thing is so low profile that you can hide it in the shadows and the birds never see you till.....BOOM BOOM BOOM!
