Hi all, I thank you for opportunity to introduce myself to all of you. I am 47 years old, married with 5 kids. I have 3 grandkids with another on the way. I have been an avid outdoors person all of my life. I am a mechanic by trade but a diehard waterfowler by desire. I enjoy hunting over decoys on a pond, pass shooting and field hunting for geese. I have served as a board member of the Utah Waterfowl Association, been a chapter president for Waterfowl USA and currently oversee the startup portion of Southern Utah Waterfowlers.

As you can see by the photo, my 12 year old son is by far my most favorite hunting partner. He has joined me in the field most every time I have been out since he was 5 years old. When he turned 10 he started participating in the hunts.

My joy in waterfowling comes from getting the youth involved. I believe whole heartedly that if you teach your kid to hunt, you won't have to hunt for your kids. There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing the joy on a teenagers face when they become hooked on waterfowling. I have seen that look on many of kids whether it is during goose banding projects, duck nesting projects, weed spraying projects or just during the youth hunt. The youth are definitely the future to our sport.
