My name is Jeremy Stepan, I grew up in Hamshire Texas where I got my start in hunting about the time my feet hit the ground. I hunt everything from deer and a hog to birds such as dove, quail, pheasant and chucker, but my biggest passion is waterfowl, mainly ducks.

I usually hunt the bayous and marshes in my area; I also like to hunt flooded timbers and rice fields. Duck hunting is a tradition in my family, my dad was in the junior world duck calling contest in 1962, and my Granddad also won the world that year. Duck Hunting is a long standing tradition in my family, some of my favorite memories with my dad, some of my closest friends and my wife are in the field or the bayou.

In my spare time, besides hunting, I enjoy training dogs. Through everything, the early mornings or the late nights stringing decoys, the most exciting part is bringing people on their first hunt and watching their excitement when they shoot their first bird.
